The Library has 50 passes, each good for one free admission to the Museum of Natural History. These passes expire next August, and we want to give everyone a fair chance, so we will hold a monthly lottery for tickets

How It Works

  • We will hold monthly drawings to give out passes fairly throughout the year.

  • Each winner will get 2 passes to the museum.

  • If your name is drawn, you’ll be contacted to pick up your pass at the library.

  • Each pass is good for one person and expires on August 11, 2026.

Who Can Apply?

  • Any Closter Library card holder in good standing.

  • One entry per household per year.

  • Must be age 18+ to apply.

How to Enter the Drawing

  1. Click here to fill out a Natural History Pass Entry Form (paper copies are available at the front desk).

  2. Include your name, library card number, phone/email, and household address.

  3. The drawing will be done on the 15th of each month. Your name stays in the pool until you’re selected or until the program ends.

Didn’t Win This Month?
No problem! Your entry stays in the lottery for future months. You only need to sign up once per year.

Terms & Notes

  • Passes are non-transferable and may not be sold.

  • One pass per household for the year.

  • If you win and do not pick up your pass within 7 days, it will be given to someone else.
